The Rebirth of the Middle East, is based on more than 15 years of research and interviews on this proposition. To assist in evolving a regional economic community over time, for 28 nations of the Middle East, with a population nearing ½ billion people, will require trust and financial and moral assistance from other countries. Models and flowcharts are presented to develop these concepts. A reinvented Marshall Plan for the entire area is urged, along with the historical elements of the 1948 program that gave hope to a devastated war-torn Europe. This approach encouraged the evolution of what today is the European Union, with 480 million citizens consuming 25 percent of all worldly goods.
